LAWNDALE - Jimmie Ray Kelly, age 73, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He is predeceased by his spouse, Dorothy Ellen Shepherd Kelly; parents, Claude Martin Kelly and Zellie Corrella Robertson Kelly; grandson, "Baby Ace" Carter Troyer.

Jimmie leaves behind to cherish his memories his three children, daughter, Ruth Dover (Wayne) of Kings Mountain, son, John Wayne Shepherd (Sherrill) of Lawndale and daughter, Kimmie Sue Shepherd (Brian Pearson); eight grandchildren, Chris, Ben, Amy, Thomas, Jimmy, Jess, April and Barry; fifteen great-grandchildren; four fur babies he loved dearly;

He worked in Transportation as a Truck Driver for most of his life. He loved Joe, Candy and Shy. He also loved listening to Country Music, watching Westerns and Wrestling.He enjoyed spending time with his family. He will truly be missed.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020 at Cleveland Memorial Park, 122 College Avenue, Shelby, NC 28152 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Jack Jones officiating.
