Jeanne Elizabeth (Kennerly) Blackwell

Jeanne Elizabeth (Kennerly) Blackwell passed away February 14, 2023 while at Atrium Healthcare, Cleveland.  She was born in Mooresville, NC to the late Mason and Maybelle Kennerly.  Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, Marcus Blackwell, a granddaughter, Jessica A. Blackwell, brother, Charles Kennerly, and sister, Carole Livengood.

Left to cherish Jeanne's memories are her son, Steven Blackwell (Annie); daughter, Rebecca Blackwell (Kennedy); adopted sons, Jonathan Ashley and Marcus Gay Blackwell; grandchildren, Jessica W. Blackwell and Sierra Baber (Brandon); great-grandson, Branson Baber; brother, Allen Kennerly; sisters-in-law, Willine Kennerly and Cola Sue Kennerly; and brother-in-law, Harold Livengood.

Jeanne loved her family dearly.  She enjoyed watching movies and playing games with the family, even though she was the worst gift-giver in Pokemon Go and was known to cheat at cards on occasion.  She was still a hoot! who had a wonderful sense of humor and could always make you laugh.  But if she told you that you were family, she meant that wholeheartedly.  She was the best mother and friend you could ask for and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
