Jason Marvin Ayers

SHELBY - Jason Marvin Ayers, age 40, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 20, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Cleveland County on August 18, 1979. 

Jason leaves behind his mother, Terry Ervin and husband Willie Ervin of Lawndale; father, Ricky Marvin Ayers and wife, Candy Ayers of Shelby; one sister, April Denise Ayers of Cherryville; stepbrother, John Weaver of Shelby.

Jason enjoyed music, fishing, hanging out with his friends and family. He was a loving and caring son. He will be missed clearly and we will forever carry him in our hearts. He is at peace now. He has a special aunt, Rita Swink and uncle, Robert Swink of Shelby, NC whom he loved dearly and numerous cousins. 

He is predeceased by his grandmother, Julimae Ayers and grandfather, Ben Ayers; great-grandmother, Alda Elizabeth and Great-grandfather, Gus Wellmon; grandmother, Effine Reynolds and grandfather, R.B. Reynolds.
