James "Bully" Boyd Martin

James "Bully" Boyd Martin, 70, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 23, 2023 while at his home. He was born in Gaffney, SC to Betty Jean Turner Martin and the late David  Franklin Martin. He is also predeceased by one brother, Tony Martin; brother-in-law, Bennie Curtis.

Bully leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife Barbara Wray Martin of the home; sons, James Boyd Martin, Jr., Jeffery Martin and wife, Tasha Martin, Matthew Dacoda Martin and Coby Bruce White; grandchildren, Kera Nicole Martin, David Wayne Martin and Danielle Martin; sister, Dorothy Martin Curtis; brother, David Martin and wife, Kellie Martin.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Faith Baptist Church, 2738 S Post Road, Shelby, NC 28152 with Dr. J. Barry Goodman and Rev. Justin Martin officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service.
