Helen Raye (Moore) Strange

Helen Raye Moore Strange, 73, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 while at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late E.D. Moore and Rosella Fowler Moore in Cleveland County. 

Left behind to cherish her memories are her spouse, Bill Strange of the home; daughter, Tammy Tessneer (Sammy); 3 sons, Johnny Black (Cathy), Donnie Black and Jerry Strange (Dayna); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Florence Humphries, Brenda Jones (Ray), Judy Emory (Ronnie), Kathy Whitner (Grady); brother, Mickey Moore; special friends, Beth McCurry (Jeffrey) and Brenda McCurry (Scott).

Helen worked in Textiles as a Spinner. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The Family will Receive Friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Springmore Baptist Church, 651 McBrayer Homestead Rd, Shelby, NC 28152.
