G.C. Philbeck

KINGS MOUNTAIN - G. C. Philbeck, 69, passed away on Tuesday, January 04, 2022 at his home. He was born in Cleveland County to the late Arnold and Madge Melton Philbeck on November 28, 1952. He is also predeceased by one sister, Marie Sanders; four brothers, Buford, J.C, Gene and Jim Philbeck.

G.C. leaves behind one sister, Gertrude Knox; four children, Tonya Jannette, Michelle Ayers, Kiley Philbeck and Autumn Hurlocker; seven, grandchildren, Matthew, J.T., Richard Swilling, Chelsey Gilliam, Cameron Ayers, Andy, Holden, J.T., Brooklyn Philbeck, and eleven great grandchildren.

He worked in Textiles for most of his life. He enjoyed working on vehicles. He was a wonderful brother, father and grandfather. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 08, 2022 at Robert Morgan - Rutherford Chapel, 124 Fair Hope Street, Spindale, NC 28043 with Pastor Barry Philbeck officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to service.
