Frederick Carlyle Wilson

Frederick Carlyle "Carl" Wilson, Jr., 52, was born on February 14, 1971 and passed away at his home on Saturday, October 14, 2023. He was the only child of Ida Nell Cook Wilson and the late Frederick Carlyle Wilson, Sr. in Mecklenburg County. His paternal grandparents were Fred and Katherine Ballard Wilson of Paw Creek and his maternal grandparents were Dixon and Effie Lail Cook of Lawndale.

Carl is survived by an uncle, Norris Cook of Shelby and five aunts, Betty Burgin of Cherryville, Christeen Cook of Lincolnton, Bryte Benfield of Morristown, Tennessee and Mary Lou Cook and Dianne Sain of Vale.

A Graveside Service will be held at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte, NC on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Gene Lathan and Pastor Bruce Brooks officiating.
