Fannie Ellen (Mitchell) Brooks

Fannie Ellen Mitchell Brooks, 86, entered her Heavenly home on Thursday, April 20, 2023 while surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She is predeceased by husband, William G. Brooks; 2 grandsons; parents, John and Mary Gordon Mitchell; 5 sisters.

Fannie leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughters, Wanda Walker and Cynthia "Cindy" Dennis; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; 

She loved watching Jimmy Swaggart on television. She enjoyed going to the beach with her husband, sister and brother-in-law. She also enjoyed traveling, salt water fishing, spending time at the river property and riding in a boat with her family and especially with her husband.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SBN (SonLife Broadcasting Network), P.O. Box 262550, Baton Rouge, LA 70826 to help further the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at New Life Family Worship Center, 428 Oak Grove Road, Kings Mountain, NC 28086. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service.
