Elsa Ann (Vukovich) Drumheller

SHELBY - Elsa Ann Drumheller, age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 30, 2020 at her home in Shelby, NC. She was the youngest sister to Joseph, Paul, Grace and Natalie born January 3, 1937 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to Eli and Mary Vukovich. She eloped and married the love of her life, Forrest R. Drumheller Sr, in 1954 and enjoyed 53 years of marriage until he passed away in 2007.

For many years Elsa owned and operated her own business until her failing health caused her to retire to Florida with her husband. She enjoyed helping others, painting, crafting, gardening and was dedicated to her faith as a Jehovah's Witness.

Elsa is survived by her daughter Cynthia Petri, daughter and son-in-law Mary & Ronald Romich, son and daughter-in-law F. Richard and Tara Drumheller Jr, and daughter Brenda Wagner; loving grandchildren Amanda Lane, Shannon Romich, H. Jacob Petri IV, Tiffany Romich, Courtney Hilbert, Brittany Quinley, Eric and Scott Drumheller; precious great grandchildren Codi, Sydney, Landon, Thai, Xavier, Giana, Lillian, Connor, Colton, Cooper, Liam, Paxton, Bennett and Weston; her sister Grace as well as many nieces and nephews. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

A family gathering will be in Pennsylvania where she will be laid to rest with husband, Forrest R. Drumheller Sr.
