Debora Yvonne (Johnson) Cook

Debora Yvonne Johnson Cook, 67, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 while at home under Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. She was born to the late James William Johnson and Nina Ester King in Rutherford County. She is also predeceased by sisters, Rhonda Ledford and Wren Walker; brother, William Johnson. 

Debora leaves behind to cherish her memories her spouse, Thomas Cook of the home; sons, Jody Franklin (Debbie), Justin Franklin and Trey Glass; daughters, Buffy Elliott (Danny) and  Abreainn Terry (Allen); fourteen grandchildren; sisters, Denise Harris (Ken) and Linda White; brothers, Ty Walker (Dawn) and Billy Walker; sister-in-law, Francis Hollifield.

She worked in Textiles. She loved watching her birds and visiting with her family and friends. She loved going to the beach. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and sister-in-law and will be cherished forever.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church, 5840 Bostic Sunshine Hwy, Bostic, NC 28018 with Allen Terry and William Cox officiating.
