David Boyce Houser

GROVER - David Boyce Houser, 66, passed away on Thursday, December 03, 2020 at his home. He is predeceased by his parents, Maurice Laxton Houser and Ruby Bridges Houser.

David leaves behind to cherish his memories his son, Zeke Houser and wife, Brooke; grandson, Zeb Houser; significant other, Sheree Dotson; brothers, Larry Houser and wife, Shirley, Cecil Houser and wife, Rheta and Phillip Houser and wife, Kathy.

David worked at Henson Timber as a Building Materials Salesman for most of his life. He loved baseball and coaching Zeke's ball teams. He enjoyed playing golf with his buddies. He also worked with the VFW and helped with fundraising for Cleveland County Autism and Shelby Police Department. He was a wonderful father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother and  a significant other. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, December 06, 2020 at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 2621 Blacksburg Road, Earl, NC 28038 at 2:00 PM Rev. Kathy Houser officiating..

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Hospital - Greenville, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607 or Cleveland County Hospice, 951 Wendover Hospice Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
