FOREST CITY - Danny Ray Jackson, Sr., age 65, native of Rutherford County, passed away on Thursday, March 05, 2020 at Hospice of Carolina Foothills surrounded by his devoted and loving family. He is predeceased by his parents, Howard Flay and Margaret Watts Jackson; one brother, Richard Jackson; one sister, Polly McGinnis.
Danny was a musician and loved playing the bass. He also worked in Construction as a Plumber. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and father-in-law. He will truly be missed.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Mary Jackson; son, Danny Jackson, Jr.; daughters, Angela Jackson, Kimberly Jackson and Patricia Watts and husband Ricky Watts, Jr.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Donnie "Bear" Jackson.
A Memorial Service will be held at Restoration Church of Forest City,133 Gardenbrook Drive, Forest City NC 28043 on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM with Pastor Jerry Hames and Pastor Ronnie Robbins officiating.
