CHARLOTTE - Dane Anthony Thune, 33, of Charlotte, NC passed away unexpectedly on October 2nd, 2018 in Calhoun, GA.
He was a young man full of life, who loved his two children, hiking, and all sports. He mostly enjoyed making everyone laugh, and most of all loved to see everyone happy around him.
He was the son of Jeannie Nyborg Roberts & James Roberts.
In addition, he is predeceased by his grandfathers, James William Nyborg Sr. of Charlotte, NC, and Darrell E Roberts of Mt Carmel Tennessee.
Dane was survived by his two children, Dane Jr and Tayla Thune along with their mother, Samantha Gay Thune Hart, Grandmother Ella Sue Nyborg, sister Amber Thune and her children Tylus and Aryus, Aunts and uncles, Kimberly and John Martins, Terry and Mike Smith, James Jr and Angie Nyborg. Too many cousins to mention them all, and it would take a book to mention all his friends.
The service will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Benson Funeral and Cremation Services, 101 Oak Grove Street, Mt Holly, NC 28120. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
Arrangements are entrusted to Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC of Boiling Springs, NC.
