SHELBY - Cindy June Mathis Spannagel, 53, passed away on Thursday, June 02, 2022 at Testa Family Hospice of Kings Mountain. She is predeceased by two brothers, Mark Mathis and Craig Mathis.

Cindy leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, Scott E. Bodwell and Robert N. Bodwell; daughter, Jaclyn S. Spannagel; daughter in-law, Chelsea Bodwell; grandchildren, Christophber Bodwell, Alyssa Bodwell, Aliyah Keller and Julian Rigdon; sister, Pamela Padron; parents, Grady Mathis and Sue Anne Mathis.

She was born on June 02, 1969, and she did it all. She was a daughter, loving sister, caring wife, and most importantly a devoted mother to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed collecting knick knacks, fishing, and spending time with all of her family including her niece and nephews. She will forever be in our hearts.
