Charlotte Ann (Costner) Brown

SHELBY - Charlotte Ann Costner Brown, 86, of Shelby, NC departed this life Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Peak Resources, Shelby.  Born in Shelby, NC on January 8, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Jacob D. Costner and Mildred Newton Costner.  She worked for Fiber Industries in the 1970's and later retired from Winn Dixie Grocery.  

She was preceded in death by two sons, George Michael Brown and John E. Brown, Jr. (JB), one brother, Larry J. Costner, and her former husband, John E. Brown, Sr.  She is survived by her daughter, Robin Brown-Braddy of Shelby, grandchildren, Madison Lee Ann Braddy of Georgia, Jade Brown and Jonathan Brown (Amanda) of Surfside Beach, SC and three great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service to honor her life will be held at a date to be determined.
