Obituary
Carol Ann Herzog Marks, 81, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 while at her home. She was born to the late Ernest Herzog and Freida Schimph. She is also predeceased by her husband, James Albert Marks; brothers, Augie Herzog, Ernie Herzog and Freddie Herzog; sisters, Eleanor Roach and Laura Lycan.
Left behind to cherish her memories are her sons, Joe Marks and Jimmy Marks; nephews, Danny Ringo and Richard Ringo; dog, Rozie and cats, Tommy, Snowy and Little Bit; many friends.
She worked as a Customer Service Manager at Emerson Climate Technologies. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and beloved pets. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 04, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 818 McGowan Road, Shelby, NC 28150 with Rev. Fr. Peter Ascik officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
