Carl Burney Walters

SHELBY - Carl Burney Walters, 92. of Peach Street, Shelby, NC died on Saturday, January 01, 2022 at the Hospice of Carolina Foothills. He was born on August 03, 1929 in Lumberton, NC to the late Rad and Flossie James Walters. He is also predeceased by his wife, Geneva Walters: two sons, Carl Walters, Jr. and Kenny Walters; two daughters, Edna Whittaker and Mary Cook.

Carl is survived by one sister, Lois Hayes of Shelby, NC; three daughters, Sue Cranford of Cherryville, NC, Connie Walters of Mooresville, NC and Barbara Walters Guerero of Lincolnton, NC; twelve grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

He was loved by many and will be sadly missed.

The family would like to "Thank" the staff, caregivers and nurses of Home Health Agency and Hospice of Carolina Foothills, they truly are angels.

The Family will have a Private Gathering to celebrate his life at a date to be determined.
