Bruce Lynn Harris

Bruce Lynn Harris, 67, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 while at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, Forest City. He was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Roy Lee Harris and Charlotte Stidom Harris. He is also predeceased by his brother, James Harris; sister, Peggy Harris Ortiz.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Emanuel Harris (Melissa) and Caleb Harris; daughter, Holly Smith; grandchildren, Ethan Harris, Hannah Harris and Joshua Harris; sister, Sherry Phelps.

Bruce worked as a Truck Driver for Willie Hamrick in Boiling Springs then Concrete Supply in Forest City. He enjoyed being part of peoples lives and the new things being built. He enjoyed gardening, and was gifted with the knowledge of raising flowers. Bruce was an avid rock collector and his talent for working with small electronics was uncanny as he had no formal training.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Fairview Missionary Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall, 128 Fairview Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114.
