Bobby Gene Campbell

Bobby Gene Campbell, 84, passed away on  Thursday, August 14, 2025. He was born to the late Edward Lee Campbell and Annie Lee Campbell in Rutherford County. He is also predeceased by his spouse, Linda Sue Greene Campbell; son, Ricky Campbell; brother, Jerry Campbell.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Mark Campbell, Terry Campbell, Eddie Campbell, Donald Blanton, James Blanton and Robert Callahan; daughters, Rhonda Campbell and Amy Callahan; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Campbell, Ronnie Campbell and Buddy Campbell; sisters, Barbara Campbell Conner.

Bobby loved gardening and planting flowers. He was known for his jams and jellies and wonderful cooking. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch waving at neighbors and watching the hummingbirds feed off his beautiful hanging baskets and well maintained lawn. He will forever remain in our hearts.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Golden Valley Community Church, 6800 Bostic Sunshine Hwy, Bostic NC, 28018 with Rev. Buddy Campbell officiating.
