Billy Joseph "Joey" Whisnant

MOORESBORO - Billy Joseph Whisnant, 47, native of Cleveland County, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Atrium Healthcare - Cleveland.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Wayne Whisnant and Judy Ann Hamrick Whisnant; brother-in-law, Steve Clay; beloved dog, Flex Wayne Whisnant.

Joey is survived by two sons, Elliott Joseph Whisnant and Parker Wayne Whisnant; son's mothers, Haley Ruppe Elliott and Natashia Rosers "Parker"; sister, Christy Clay; niece, Samantha Clay; nephew, Steven Clay.

He worked as a Heat and Air Maintenance Technician for most of his life. He loved going to NASCAR Races with his family and loved his Carolina Panthers. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Robert Morgan - Rutherford Chapel, 124 Fair Hope Street, Spindale, NC 28160
