GASTONIA - Betty Faye Dillard Snead May, age 74, born in Mecklenburg County, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at her home. She was the daughter of the late William Earl Dillard and Catherine Gibson Dillard; wife of the late Jerry Snead, Sr. and Daniel DG May.
Betty leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, Jerry Snead, Jr. and Michael Snead; daughters, Linda Snead and Betty Bridges; daughter-in-law, Angela Snead; son-in-law, Jeffrey Bridges; granddaughters, Emma Snead, Savannah Bridges, Madison Bridges and Amy Carnes; great-grandson, Jonathon Bradley; sisters, Sue Carver and Debbie Ramsey.
Betty was a native of Mecklenburg County and worked 25 years in the Yarn Mill industry. she will be missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
The Snead Family will receive Family and Friends on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at City Set on a Hill, 1299 West Franklin, NC 28052.
