Arthur "Goldbird" Prier Earls

MOORESBORO - “Goldbird” Arthur Earls, age 69, born September 4, 1953 to the late O.P. Earls and Sarah Estelle Godfrey Earls passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. He was predeceased in death by his wife, Jolynne Phillips Earls of 44 years; brothers, Buck, John, Opal, Wilbur and Joel (Speed) Earls; grandson, Westyn Smith.

Goldbird is survived by his children, Christopher Joseph Earls, Jennifer Lynne Earls, and Joshua David Earls; grandchildren, Christopher Glenn Earls, Austin Morris, and Rylan Smith; brothers, George Earls, Tracy Earls, Joseph Earls; sisters, Norma Sue Keown, Marcy Drake, Judy Henderson, and Cynthia Bridges.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 3:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. at Rutherford Chapel (Robert Morgan), 124 Fair Hope Street, Forest City, NC 28043.
