"Annette" Piercy Morgan

ELLENBORO - Annette Piercy Morgan, 84, transitioned to her Heavenly home on Monday, January 16, 2023 while at Atrium Healthcare Cleveland. She was born in Rutherford County, NC to the late Howard and Sue "MawMaw" Piercy. She is also predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Robert "Bob" Morgan; sister, Virginia Campfield; brother, Bud Piercy; loving mother-in-law, Mary Whitt; brother-in-law, Arnold Branch; nephew, Ronnie Paige; grand-dog, Joey.

Annette leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, Robert "Robbie" Morgan (Heidi) of Lawndale, NC and Alan Morgan of Ellenboro, NC; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 6 nephews; many great-nephews, great-nieces, great-great-nephews and great-great-nieces; numerous "Adopted" children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; grand-dogs; special caretakers, Martha Wells, Patsy Stroup and Cande Emory.

She was a member, for more than 70 years, at High Shoals Baptist Church, Mooresboro, NC  and also taught the Ruth Sunday School Class. She was a former employee of Burlington Industries and also at Adkins Drugstore as a Pharmacy Technician. Her warm smile and laughter would light up a room. She will remain in our hearts and memories forever.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at (Robert Morgan) - Rutherford Chapel, 124 Fair Hope Street, Forest City, NC 28043. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Larry Nunn and Pastor Shane Adkins officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service at High Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery, 284 High Shoals Church Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114.  At Annette's request "Casual Dress - Come As You Are".
