Alton Reese Obituary

Alton Ruth Hodge Reese, 89, passed away on Tuesday, February 06, 2024 while at Wendover Hospice. She was born in Gaston County to the late John Weaver and Ora Brady Hodge. She is also predeceased by her husband, James "Red" Reese; 8 brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Wayne and wife, Dianne Reese and Jerry and wife, Sharon Reese; daughter, Angela and husband, Michael Hoyle; granddaughter, Dana and husband, Jonah Ingle; grandson, Ben and wife, Kimberly Reese; grandson, Jordan and wife, Stephanie Reese; granddaughter, Amanda and husband, Dustin Smith; granddaughter, Katie Reese; great-grandchildren, Mazie and Paxton Ingle, Ava Reese, Landon and Violet Smith.

Alton was a Crossing Guard for Schools. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will forever be missed.

Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
