Virginia Ruth (Foster) Scism

SHELBY - Virginia "Ruth" Foster Scism, 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Coell and Leslie Foster. She is also predeceased by her spouse, Robert Allen Scism; son, Robert Colon Scism; brother, Coell Junior Foster; sister, Mary Frances Brown.

Ruth leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Cynthia Scism Davidson; grandchildren, Justin Scism, Jesse Scism, Myla Keever, Hannah Scism and Courtney Evans; great-grandchildren, Andy Scism, Jaxon Keever, Zoltan Connor, Adalyn Beheler and Natalie Beheler; many nieces and nephews; Special people and Thanks to her great friend, Bill Williams, special friends, Denise Webber and Shannon Scism, special nephew, Duran Brown and special friend, James Henson.

She loved her family and friends. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Aunt and friend. She left us all with a special mark for life.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Dover Baptist Church, 1501 Polkville Road, Shelby, NC 28150 with Ervin "Bulo" Price officiating. Receiving of family and friends will be held 30 minutes prior to service.
