Travis Brian Biggerstaff

SHELBY - Travis Brian Biggerstaff, 42, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Hospice at Wendover surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Hardy and Norma Kiser and Eldridge and Mildred Biggerstaff.

Travis leaves behind to cherish his memories his children, Tyler Biggerstaff, Brian Biggerstaff and Dylan Phillips of the home; parents, Martha Kiser Biggerstaff Phillips (Ed) of Shelby and Ron Biggerstaff (Joy) of Linwood, NC; brother, Todd Biggerstaff (Natalie) of Lexington, NC; niece, Mollie Biggerstaff; nephew, Zac Biggerstaff; aunts, Mary Kennedy, Judy McSwain and Maryetta Wease; uncles, Reynold Biggerstaff and John Kiser.

He worked in commercial construction as a pipe fitter with his father's company for most of his life. He enjoyed restoring motorcycles and old cars. He was fun loving, happy go lucky and never met a stranger. Travis had a kind and giving spirit. He was a wonderful father, son, grandson, brother and uncle.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 pm on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at New Prospect Baptist Church,1960 New Prospect Church Road, Shelby, NC 28150 with the Rev. Chris Devine officiating. Time with friends will be held immediately following the service.
