Thomas Michael Wilburn

LOCUST - Thomas "Tommy" Michael Wilburn went home to THE LORD on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at home in his bed. He is predeceased by his father, Hugh Thomas "Tom" Wilburn and grandparents, Jesse and Mary Francis Wilburn.

He will be forever missed in this life by his brother, David Wilburn; mother, Michelle Lowder; grandparents, Johnny and Joanne Helms; uncles, Michael Bradley and Rick Wilburn; aunts, Charlotte Campbell and Mary Looper; cousins, Jesse, Michelle and Jason. His two children's names are Emma and Damon. He leaves behind his best friend,"other brother", Michael Simmons and a whole host of other friends, as he was quite the social butterfly!!! He never met a stranger.

Tommy loved being David's big brother; he was trying to care for him before he could walk well. He loved charming his Nanny and fishing with his Papa. He loved to give his Mama a hard time. "Shut up" became code for "I love you". Generally, he loved making others laugh; he wanted it to be hard to feel bad when he was around.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Friendship Baptist Church 9360 Oak Grove Road, Stanfield, NC. Family and friends will gather in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.
