Ronald Noah Ayers

SHELBY - Mr. Ronald Noah Ayers, age 77 of Mooresboro passed away at Wendover Hospice on Sunday, June 9, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. A native of Florence County, SC and a son of the late Fred William and Taska Irene Owens Ayers.

Ronald leaves behind to cherish his memories his spouse of 55 years Martha Poston Ayers; children, Kathy Pruitt and husband Scott, Ronnie Ayers and wife Michelle and Dwayne Ayers and wife Karen; grandchildren, Jessica Cathcart and husband Joshua, Taylor Martin and husband Justin, Chelsey Gilliam and husband Brad, Cameron Ayers and wife Megan, Justin Ayers, Hayden and Ryan Ayers; great-grandchildren, Elijah and Isabella Cathcart, Carson and Lillian Martin, Tanner and Chase Gilliam and Dylan Ayers; brother, Freddy Ayers.

Ronald worked as a Mechanic Foreman at PPG for 33 years. He was a member of the Church of God in Kings Mountain. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, camping, gardening and helping build race cars. Ronald loved spending time with family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Trinity Baptist Church, 746 Trinity Church Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114 with Pastor Mike Frazier officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will be held following the service.
