Rachel Ann (Harmon) Phillips

Mooresboro - Mrs. Rachel Ann (Harmon) Phillips, age 83 passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was a native of Rutherford County and wife of the late John Paul Phillips. She is also predeceased by a son John Paul Phillips, Jr., her parents Hammie Wade Harmon and Emma Parris Harmon, and two grandsons, Robbie and Jamie Smith. 

Left to cherish her memories are five daughters, Kathy Phillips Cooper of Mooresboro, Karen Bosserman (Howard Davis) of Mooresboro, Patty Deaton (Mike) of Boiling Springs, Kim Humphries (David) Mooresboro, Susan Tate of Mooresboro. One Brother; Rev. Wilson Harmon of Winston Salem, Grandchildren: Paula Richards, Mark Scruggs, Dusty Phillips, Jason Humphries, Donnie Deaton, Jeff Deaton, Kyle Hawkins, Curtis Hawkins, Haley Hawkins and 22 Great Grandchildren.

Services are Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. Trinity Baptist Church, Mooresboro with the Rev. Mike Frazier officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, September 18th, from 7-9 PM at the church. Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
