Mary Darlene (Crowe) Oaks

CHERRYVILLE - Mary "Darlene" Crowe Oaks, 62, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Testa Family Hospice House surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She was born to the late Frank and Nellie Walker Crowe on June 10,1955 in Cleveland County. She is also predeceased by two brothers, Dwight Crowe and Charles Crowe.

Darlene leaves behind to cherish her memories a son, Chuck Bell of Cherryville; a daughter, Jennifer Oaks of Casar; a sister, Debra Crowe Humphries of Shelby; a granddaughter, Skylar Oaks of Casar; a grandson, Weston Oaks of Casar; best friend and beloved Sissy cat; many friends that became family.

She was a devoted Christian and a long standing member of Victory Life Assembly of God. She was a strong, independent and loving single mother that loved her children deeply. 
She is gone but not forgotten, although we are apart, your spirit lives within us, forever in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017, at Victory Life Assembly of God, Cherryville, NC with Pastor Mike Whisnant officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Height Drive Shelby, NC 28150.
