Margaret Alice (Sinclair) McAfee

ROCK HILL - Margaret Alice Sinclair McAfee, 90, passed away surrounded by her family at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. Alice was welcomed into the arms of Jesus Christ on Tuesday,  May 23, 2017

Born on June 21 1926,  in the Bethany Community of York County, to Fredrick Evelyn Sinclair and Eliza McCarter Sinclair. She was the youngest of seven children. She went to Bethany high school. Ms. McAfee married William Brooks McAfee who was her high school sweetheart. Soon after, they began their home-life in Jacksonville, Florida. There she was employed by a local telephone company until they moved back to York County.  Several years later she began her teacher's aide career with the Clover School District where she worked until her retirement. Ms. Alice was a huge Braves and Cardinals baseball fan. She was a Clemson football supporter as well.

Family was her focus and fun was her nature. She is survived by her son Michael Brooks McAfee, daughter in law,  Sineath Falls McAfee; a grandson Stephen George McAfee and daughter in law, Midge Colon-McAfee. She was an aunt to a host of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Adored by all and all of which were her favorite.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Beersheba Presbyterian Church, Clover, SC 29710.
