Linda Denise Kirby

SHELBY - Linda Denise Kirby, 60, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at her home. She is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Richard Bowen, Jr.; parents, Bobby and Edith Jones Kirby.

Linda leaves behind to cherish her memories her soulmate, Bert Humphries; two daughters, Christina (Eric) Wease and April (Macky) Latham; sons, Preston and Patrick Humphries; four grandchildren, Katelyn Latham, Matthew Latham, Lilly Wease, Emily Wease and Ariel Humphries; one brother, Gary Kirby (Delores); a special friend, Peggy Porter.

Linda was a member of Lily Memorial Baptist Church in Shelby. She worked as a caregiver for most of her life. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and working puzzles. She was a wonderful soulmate, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and friend. She will truly be missed by those who love and miss her.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 03, 2019 at Lily Memorial Baptist Church, 406 Whitener Street, Shelby, NC 28152. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
