Leonard Eugene Hooper

Mill Springs - Mr. Leonard Eugene (Gene) Hooper, age 73 passed away August 23, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Frank James Hooper and Anna Ruth Brown Hooper and was predeceased by one son, Randy Waters. He was a native of Greenville, SC.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Dottie of the home; his children, Larry Waters (Renea), Bobby Waters, Delinda Anderson, Trudy Britt (Joey), George Hooper, Robert Hooper and Roy Hooper; sisters; Mildred Williams (John), Mary McAllister and Sue McAllister; one brother, James Hooper (Grace); grandchildren, Chris Waters, Jamie Grainger, Brandon Anderson, Tonya Pence and Tiffany Grant; eleven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Grassy Knob Baptist Church in Polk County.
