CHERRYVILLE - Keith Welker Whitaker, 71, passed away on Tuesday, May 07, 2019 at Atrium Healthcare - Main. He is predeceased by his parents, Rowe and Dierdrea Gould Whitaker; twin sister, Kathryn Whitaker Harris; sister, Jane Whitaker Wade; brothers, David Whitaker and Walter Whitaker.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his brother Alan Whitaker and wife Linda; his daughters, Erin Whitaker and Amy Steingard and husband, Ryan; grandchildren, Scout, Leif and Pippa; numerous nieces and nephews.

Keith loved Panthers football, all things fishing, his pontoon boat, the outdoors, gardening, the North Carolina coast, drinking Pepsi, and spending time with his grandkids.

A private family service will be held at Moss Lake on Saturday, May 11, 2019.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
