Joseph Scott McKinney

FOREST CITY - Joseph Scott McKinney, 55, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2019 at Rutherford Hospital. He is predeceased by his wife, Melissa Green; mother, Marilyn Eplee; brother, Tony McKInney.

Joesph leaves behind to cherish his memories his two sons, Adam McKinney of Marion and Justin (Kendra) McKinney of Forest City; daughter, Shelby McKinney of Forest City; four grandchildren, David, Briceson and Sarah Mckinney of Marion and Bryson Parker of Forest City;.fiance' Sherry McNaughton; parents, Paul (Maxine) McKinney and  Edward Eplee; one sister, Miranda (Owen) Eplee Penton of Bostic; three step-sisters, Lisa (Chris) Buchanan, Karen (Michael) Friend and Diane (Donnie) Conner all of Forest City, NC; numerous nieces and nephews, Sharlene (Ron) Anderson and Tina (Michael) Hartford all of Forest City.

For most of his life his occupation was in Pipeline Construction. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He will truly be missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Riverside Baptist Church, 1178 Hogan Road, Forest City, NC 28043 with pastor Ted Blankenship officiating.
