Edna Grace (Bailey) West

FOREST CITY - Edna Grace Bailey West, 71, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She is predeceased by her parents, Walter and Minnie Blackwell Bailey. 

Grace leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 54 years, William West; five children, Leon West (Terri), Reba Dixon (Joe), Bobby West (Marsha), Bill West (Audrey) and Billy West (Sonja); fourteen grandchildren, Matthew West, Haley Shepheard, Ashley Kimbrell, Chris Kimbrell, Jessica Hollifield, Joseph Dixon, Josh Dixon, Jennifer Dixon, Broady Dixon, Christian West, Paige Walker, Mark West, Bill West and Amanda West; fifteen great-grandchildren, Braydon, Hunter, Logan, Lawson, Landon, Opal, Riley, J.R., Abby, Peyton, Bentley, Haden, Chelsey, Destiny and Emma; three sisters, Ann Helton, Hazel Smith and Gladys "Punty" Wilson.

Grace worked at Stonecutter Mills as a Spinner for most of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will truly be missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church, 301 Deviney Street, Spindale, NC 28160 with Pastor Leon Brown officiating. Receiving of Friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church or at her home at other times before the day of the Service.
