Donna Lee (Bailes) Waters

SHELBY - Donna Lee Bailes Waters, 53, a native of Cleveland County, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Wendover Hospice surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She was born in Cleveland County to Agnes Crowe Bailes and the late Earl Wilson Bailes. 

Donna leaves behind to cherish her memories her two children, Andrew Plank (Kayla) of Shelby and Kristin Bailey (Seth) of Rutherfordton; four grandchildren, Sahara Gibson, Madison Miller, Wilson Bailey and Sapphire Bailey; one sister, Teresa Ray (Anthony Wilson) of Shelby; one nephew, Dylan Ray of Shelby; one furbaby, Blade.

For most of Donna's life, she worked as a Weaver in Textiles. She enjoyed NASCAR Racing, wrestling and reading. She loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.

A funeral service will be held at 7 PM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC, 132 East College Avenue, Shelby, NC 28152 with the Rev. Steven Cooper.
