Diane (Billingsley) Moorhead

SPARTA, NC - Diane Billingsley Moorhead, 55, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Kindred Hospital Greensboro surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland to John L. Billingsley and the late Emma Glassman Billingsley. She is also predeceased by her aunt, Marie Wagner; uncle, Henry Wagner; maternal grandparents, George Glassman and Zollie Lou Grace Glassman; paternal grandparents, Paul and Media Billingsley; other loved aunts and uncles; father-in-law, James R. Moorhead; mother-in-law, Nana Faith Nye-Ogon; step mother-in-laws, Alma Moorhead and Ethel Billingsley.

Diane leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 32 years, James D. Moorhead of the home; daughters, Katie Moorhead and Jennifer Moorhead MCCallister; aunt, Pauline Cordell; sisters, Charlene Fitzgerald and husband Craig and Brenda Hamm and husband Joseph Hamm; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; several other brother and sister in laws; beloved furbabies, Ben and Foxy.

Diane attended and graduated from Aberdeen High School. She worked as a Nanny and formerly cleaned offices for most of her life. She loved spending time with her family. She was a happy person and had a beautiful smile. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
