David Flynn Conn

SHELBY - David Flynn Conn, 63, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at Atrium Healthcare - Cleveland. He is predeceased by his mother, Barbara Findley; brother-in-law, Scott Patterson.

David leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 33 years, Debra Conn of Shelby; sons, Brian Conn (Julie) and Daniel "Rem" Dickey; father, Don Conn (Sharon); sisters, DeDe Wyatt (Bill), Maria Wesson (Chad) and Kim Patterson; brother, Gene Findley; grandchildren, Tyler, Tristan and Trace Conn, Austin Dickey and Aiden Alexander; numerous nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews.

David was a member of Union Baptist Church of Shelby. He was a Nascar Official/Truck driver and was an avid big Ole' Alabama fan. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. He will truly be missed by all of those who love him.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Crestview Baptist Church,  1090 Old Boiling Springs Rd, Shelby, NC 28152 with Pastor Mike Shumate officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union Baptist Church, 3800 Polkville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150.
