SHELBY - Mr. Charles Donald Franklin, Jr., age 44, passed away on Thursday, July 15th, 2018 at Community Home Care and Hospice in Charlotte.

Mr Franklin was born in Gaston County to the late Charles Franklin Sr. and Roberta Derby Franklin. He is also predeceased by a sister Linda Franklin.

Surviving is a daughter, India Franklin of Gastonia, a brother, Richard Franklin (Paulette) of Gastonia, two sisters, Judy Messer and Sissy Sigmon of Gaston County.

The family members want to express their thanks to the other extended family members that helped during his illness; also to Dialysis of Gastonia, Hospice of Gaston and to Kim.

Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 28th, 2018 at Bright Light Baptist Church located at 112 White Jenkins Road in Bessemer City, NC 28016.
