Betty Lankford Obituary
SPARTANBURG - Betty Marie Fowler Lankford, 89, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Mary Black Hospital. She is predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Bessie Mae Vaught Fowler; seven brothers and sisters.
Betty leaves behind to cherish her memories two sisters, Julia Chapman and Lou Mullinax; numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty was a member of of Fairview Baptist Church and the Choir there also. She loved to sew, knit and crochet. She would make clothing for family when they couldn't afford to buy it and she made it exactly like the garment the person wanted. She loved spending time with her family and friends and will truly be missed by those who miss and love her.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Fairview Baptist Church, 1551 Bryant Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303 with Pastor Ty Childers officiating.
