Barbara Lynn (Short) Clark

CHERRYVILLE - Barbara "Barbie" Lynn Short Clark, 33, gained her angel wings peacefully on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 surrounded by family and friends.

She was a loving mother and homemaker to her children and husband. She loved her kids and all babies, even unborn babies - she would rub a pregnant belly up until the final days. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She will deeply be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Justin Clark; children, Jayden Clark, Trevor Clark, Emily Clark, Anna Clark, Alexis and Kimmie Simpson; adoptive parents, Lisa and Gary; mother, Virginia Paysour and step-father, Jerry; sisters, Angela Berry (Andy) and Pamela Wilson; mother-in-law, Peggy Norton; sister-in-law, Amber Burgess (Justin); brother-in-law, Chris Clark; eleven nephews; four nieces; two great-nieces and a great-niece/nephew arriving in April 2020.

Her father, Hobert Wesley Short predeceases her. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Testa Hospice House, 321 King Mountain Boulevard, Kings Mountain, NC 28086 on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Eddie Gray officiating.
