Arnold Ledford

SHELBY - Arnold Ledford, 76, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late Plato and Louise Goforth Ledford in Kings Mountain, NC on August 23, 1941. He is also predeceased by a brother, Wayne Ledford.

Arnold leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 57 years, Colean Wright Ledford of the home; daughters, Lori Reynolds and husband, Scott of Cary, NC and Amy of the home; brothers, Robert Ledford and wife, Joyce of Kings Mountain and Herbert Ledford and Kathy of Kings Mountain; sister, Jeannie McClure and husband, Jack of Charlotte, NC.

Arnold graduated from Bethware in Kings Mountain in 1959, he served in the United States Navy, is a member of State Line Lodge,Scottish Rites and Oasis Shriners and is a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Kings Mountain.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 1022 Oak Grove Road, Kings Mountain, NC. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.

Memorials may be made in Arnold's memory to the charity of donor's choice.
