Amy Christian Freeman

GASTONIA - Amy Christian Freeman was born January 18th, 1981 to William Odell Freeman and Debra Denise Price in Gaston County. Amy passed away at age 37 at her home on September 30th, 2018. Amy was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She is predeceased by her father, William (Billy) Freeman and brother, Jeffrey Scott Freeman.

Amy is survived by her mother, Debra Burnette; children, Timothy McGinnis, Nathan McGinnis, Haley Costner, Cassidy Costner, and Landon LaFar; granddaughter, Berkley McGinnis; partner in life, Will LaFar; siblings, Brandy & Chad Warren, Jonathan Freeman, Michael Freeman and Jessica & Tyler Cranfill; special family friends, Tammy Hendrix and Shelain Hawkins.

Amy was a caring mother who loved her children. She had a contagious smile and loved to have fun. She asked that we don’t morn her at a funeral.

Our family will be honoring her request and celebrating her life with a memorial service for family and friends on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at 2 pm at 4405 Greenhaven Drive, Gastonia, NC 28056. Join us to remember Amy.
