Steven Eric Morgan

GROVER - Steven Eric Morgan, 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Carolinas Healthcare Cleveland on Friday, October 14, 2016. He was born to Clifton Morgan and the late Marie Guinn Morgan on September 27, 1954.

Eric leaves behind to cheerish his memories his wife, Carolyn "Suzie" Morgan; four children, Debbi Fisher (Shane) of Kings Mountain, Travis Morgan of the home, Stormie Morgan of Cullowhee and James Morgan (Kaycee) of Mooresboro; five grandchildren, Amber Mullinax, Ashley Mullinax, Lisa Morgan, Savanah Morgan and Elayna Morgan; two great-grandchildren, Anthony Walker and Jaxon Walker; one brother, Dana Morgan (Gail) of Gaffney.

Eric served in the US Marine Corps and was a combat Vetran of Vietnam War. He was a member of Calvary Way Holiness Church and he enjoyed hunting, playing the guitar, riding his motorcycle and horseback riding. He was very much loved and will be missed.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Rock Springs Baptist Church, 1184 Rock Springs Road, Blacksburg, SC with Rev. Dale Welch officiating.  A visitation will be held following the service. Full Military Honors by Rutherford County Honor Guard after visitation.
