Paul William Bowen

SHELBY- Mr. Paul W. Bowen, age 84, peacefully passed away on Thursday, April, 5th 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. Paul was the son of the late Gettys and Minnie Underwood Bowen. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by one sister, Alice Bowen Proctor.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 43 years, Rachel Bowen of the home; three sons, Randall Bowen, Ronald Bowen and wife, Noreen Bowen, and Ronnie Bowen; his three daughters, Rachel Owens, Lisa Bowen and Nancy Alex Reavis; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Gladys Richards; two brothers, Harold and Jr. Bowen.

Paul was a long time member of Union Baptist Church, 3800 Polkville Road, Shelby, NC 28150, where his memorial service will be held on Sunday, April, 15th at 3:00 pm. The service will be resided over by Pastor Michael Shumate.
