Marvin Eugene Powell

MOORESBORO - Mr Marvin Eugene Powell age 72, passed away at his residence on Monday, February 5, 2018. He is predeceased by his parents the late George William and Ruth Isabel White and his wife of 52 years, Betty Sue Powell.

He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Dwayne(Shannon) Powell of Shelby; three grandchildren: Adam and Isaac Powell and Roni Miskell. Four brothers, Jimmy Powell of Grover, Don (Cindy) Powell, Kings Mountain, Charlie Powell of Ellenboro and Bill (Carol) Powell of Mooresboro. Two sisters Betty Canipe and Carolyn Barrett of Shelby.

Services are being held Thursday February 8th, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, 123 Beaver Dam Church Road with Dr.Tim Sims officiating. Visitation will be from 5 -7 PM at the church. Burial will be at Cleveland Memorial Park 11:30 AM on Friday February 9th 2018.
