Glenn Edward Young, Jr.

RUTHERFORDTON - Glenn Edward Young, Jr., 38, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Theodore and Janice Jensen; one aunt, Jeanne Cassell; father, Glenn Edward Young, Sr..

Glenn leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Camelia Young; a daughter, Anayah Young; a son, Zebulon Young all of the home; mother, Denise Jensen Brill; two brothers, Joseph Young and Matthew Griggs; a host of aunts, cousins and nephews.

Glenn was born on July 8, 1978 at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonia, Texas. He was an artist and he enjoyed music. He chose to lead a spiritual life, he followed the response to his God within. When he was a small boy he made sandwiches and had his mother to take him to pass out the sandwiches to the homeless in their community. Glenn touched and blessed the lives of many with his big heart and compassion. He was a wonderful father, husband, son and brother. He loved to spend time with his children, family and friends. He loved them all very much. He will truly be remembered, kept and loved in our hearts by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Tree of life Cultural Foundation, 450 West Main Street, Forest City, NC 28043.
