Elizabeth "Libby" Ann (Ledbetter) Byers

FALLSTON - Elizabeth "Libby" Ann Byers, 49, passed away on  Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby surrounded by her loving family. A native of Cleveland County, she was born to James Ledbetter and the late Mary Allen Ledbetter on October 21, 1966. Libby is also predeceased by her spouse, James Anderson Byers; brother, Donald Ledbetter.

Libby leaves to cherish her memories by her daughter, Amanda Hudson Elmore (Daniel) of Shelby; sisters, Mary Ledbetter of Fallston and Paula Reynolds of Shelby; granddaughter, Karley Elmore; numerous nieces and nephews: her best friend, Christopher Garansi from Alexis NC.

One of her favorite things to do was mining for all sorts of rocks and minerals. She also enjoyed gardening but most of all, Libby loved and enjoyed being around her family. She will truly be missed.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
