Daniel Lee Funderburk, Jr.

BOSTIC - Daniel "Bubba" Lee Funderburk, Jr., passed away at his home on Saturday, December 16, 2017 surrounded by his devoted and loving family. He is predeceased by his wife, Brenda Funderburk; parents, Daniel Lee Funderburk and Mary Hall of Monroe, NC.

Daniel leaves behind to cherish his memories his companion, Linda Hill; son, Daniel Lee Funderburk III of Lawndale, NC; daughters, Aimee LaRousa (Steven) of Boiling Springs, NC and Windy Funderburk of Cliffside, NC; brother, Terry Funderburk (Reyna) of Irmo, SC; sisters, Carole Elaine Haywood (Buster) of Monroe, NC and Sherry Pruett (Gary) of Forest City, NC; eight grandchildren.

Daniel served in the United States Army. After more than 25 years working at Spindale Mills, he retired from his life-long dream job as a Truck Driver at McElroy Truck Lines. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He will truly be missed. A "Big" Thanks to Hospice.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Cliffside Masonic Lodge, Main Street, Cliffside, NC 28043.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County.
